Photo: BooksActually Chic Parisian blog Messy Nessy Chic just released a to-die-for list of inspiring bookshops around the world and Singapore’s BooksActually is on it.
Messy Nessy Chic, which has close to 60,000 Likes on Facebook, described the Tiong Bahru’s pride and joy as a “sleek and sunny little indie” with an owner that “knows is stuff”.
Others featured on the list include England’s Barter Books, where the first “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster was unearthed (see video below), the iconic street fixture Les Bouquinistes in Paris and New York hidden gem Brazenhead Books.
