A lot went down at the Anime Festival Asia (see our photo gallery), which happened last weekend at Suntec Singapore.
But for the rest of us who didn’t make it down (for a variety of reasons including a lack of interest in anime), the biggest takeaway is this:

Someone called the cops on the girl on the left, who was dressed as Ryuko Matoi from popular anime Kill La Kill. Rumour has it the offended older lady was just leaving church service in the same convention centre where AFA was happening when the incident happened.
An argument ensued between the two and the cops arrived, but no one was arrested.
Boob controversy aside, we think the girl’s costume was pretty fabulous:
