The Sentosa, A Beaufort Hotel, at 2 Bukit Manis Road is set for a major overhaul that will see its name changed to Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa in the second half of 2015.

The hotel is temporarily The Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa until the transformation is complete, and is officially a Royal Group Development property.

Refurbishment work is being handled by DP Architect / DP Green Landscape, as well as interior design house MaxStudio, and will result in refreshed rooms (215 keys in total including suite and villas), event venues and landscaping.

The award-winning Spa Botanica will be renamed So Spa with 14 treatment rooms, six outdoor spa pavilions and a spa garden. Other leisure facilities include two swimming pools, badminton, tennis and volleyball courts

The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa will also boast green and sustainable features and practices when work completes in 12 — 16 months.

Said Royal Group Development managing director Bobby Hiranandani on the city’s second Sofitel, “we are confident that this property will be a key strategic landmark in Sentosa, and will be established as one of the top luxury resorts in Singapore and in the region when it transforms”.
