If you’ve spent some time in Orchard in the past week, you might’ve noticed something brewing at the corner diagonal to Mandarin Gallery.

That’s the set-up for local designers collective Keepers’ biggest and longest running — five months, to be exact — pop-up event.

Open Sept. 12 — Feb. 15 next year from 11am to 10pm, the structure produced by award-winning architect Randy Chan and design agency Acre will house a retail showcase (see brands below), work spaces for designers in residence, as well as thematic events.

The event lineup hasn’t been announced, but we hear there’ll be lots of action happening during the F1 weekend, including ticketed food and beverage events by My Private Chef. There’ll also be free demonstrations and workshops by vendors such as Singapore artisanal perfumery Code Deco.

Keepers launched in 2011 by local jewellery Carolyn Kan (Carrie K), organising markets about four times a year for independent labels in Singapore to gather and showcase their handmade products.
