Local football’s golden boy Fandi Ahmad gets own wax figurine at Madame Tussauds

Today, Madame Tussauds Singapore revealed local football legend Fandi Ahmad’s wax figurine, based on his younger days as the captain of the Singapore Lions. 

According to TODAY, Fandi said it was “exciting” for him to be immortalised in this manner, as it allowed him to relive an unforgettable moment in his career.

So far, only Fandi Ahmad and Stefanie Sun’s wax doubles have been revealed. The Madame Tussauds Singapore museum has promised more depictions of local personalities, as well as international celebs like ‘Brangelina’ and Lewish Hamilton, when it opens on Oct. 25.
