Train parked at Bishan depot tagged with graffiti again

Just before a train at Bishan depot was put into service in the wee hours of the morning, staff discovered graffiti on its exterior in the latest case of vandalism experienced by SMRT.

The police were alerted to the incident just before 7am last Saturday morning, and the case has been reported to the Land Transport Authority (LTA). All authorities from the LTA, SMRT and the police are working together to determine the cause of the incidents.

In 2011, a vandal cut a hole in the fence at Bishan depot, and spray-painted on one of the trains. The year before, vandals illegally entered the depot at Changi and tagged another train.
