Janice Wong, who’s been awarded Asia’s Best Pastry Chef twice in a row by the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants ranking, is launching her eponymous retail label this weekend at Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay.

The Janice Wong sweets boutique will appear first as a pop-up at the event running from Nov. 29 — Dec. 21, which promises the curious, whimsical vibe the dessert artist finds synonymous with her brand.

Right after, the boutique will move into a permanent space at ION Orchard designed to look like an ice-cream cart and featuring an interactive section that allows customers to experience the sweets like an art installation.

Man, imagine being able to buy items like assorted spherical cake ($10 each), marshmallow paintings ($18 each), chocolate balloons and kites (from $55) and chocolate paint ($15 per bottle) in a variety of flavours and in up to 38 colours (below). They look good enough to eat and this time, there’s nothing stopping you.

Can’t wait till the weekend? See Janice Wong in action on her Facebook page.
