The Aliwal Arts Centre is prepping for another event, the Aliwal Urban Art Festival on Jan. 17, 5pm.
Happening at the Volcom Skate Park (installed along Aliwal Street, by the looks of it), the festival will feature a colourful local lineup including The Good Life Project, The Mighty Mighty and Shigga Shay.
Painting colour into the night are top club resident DJs Funk B*stard, Gema, EJ, Matteblacc, Pushin’On and Zushan, while acclaimed collectives Mojoko and RSCLS are set for some live graffiti demonstrations.
Cypher in the Park, champions of the recent Redbull BC One B-boy competition, will hold the fort in dance.
Admission is free.
