Two-year-old Zoe Choi and her British father Mr. Choi Chi Man, were not supposed to be on the missing AirAsia flight QZ8501.
They’d wanted to fly back with the rest of the family, Mr. Choi’s wife and son, but there was insufficient room on an earlier flight.
In a Telegraph report, Mr. Choi is revealed to live in Singapore, but work in Indonesia, where he’s a unit managing director for electronic manufacturing firm Alstom Power.
He had bought tickets for the flight due for Singapore, which also carries 155 Indonesians, a Malaysian, one French and three South Koreans, on Boxing Day.
