AirAsia Indonesia plants to retire the QZ8501 flight code, following the disappearance of an AirbusA320-200 en route from Surabaya to Singapore on Sunday, The Star reports.
The process takes time, however.
Said chief executive officer Sunu Widyatmoko, “We have forwarded our suggestion to the headquarters, but we are still waiting for the approval and coordination from the headquarters.”
