Singapore getting permanent Hello Kitty flights from June

Missed the 10 Hello Kitty flights in December? They’re coming back — for good.

From June 21, Taiwan’s Eva Air will be operating additional flights between Changi Airport and the Taoyuan International Airport on the B777-300ER aircraft, which will be given some new and exclusive Hello Kitty livery.

Said the airline’s president Austin Cheng, “After experiencing an overwhelming demand of our Hello Kitty jets when we introduced chartered flights between Singapore and Taipei (in December 2014), we knew Singapore had to be our first destination in Southeast Asia to host our new Hello Kitty-themed aircraft.”

Singapore’s Hello Kitty jet will be the seventh variant in the series. Eva Air also has Hello Kitty flights to China, Guam, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Paris.
