Famed naturalist David Attenborough to provide iconic voiceover to Singapore wildlife documentary

Aside from the likes of Morgan Freeman, Leonard Nimoy (RIP, LLAP) and Michael Caine, no other voice is more recognizable than the soothing tones of Sir David Attenborough, the famed broadcaster and naturalist.

Lucky for us, the British national treasure will be lending his distinctive voiceover to Wild City, a local nature documentary produced by Channel NewsAsia, offering insights into Singapore’s diverse wildlife.

The two-episode documentary is produced by the news channel as part of the SG50 celebrations, and will feature the flora and fauna of Singapore, a lesser-known aspect in the country’s mostly urban landscape.

Wild City will air at 8pm on March 15 and March 22 on Channel NewsAsia. For now, witness how Attenborough’s iconic narration can provide a classy countenance to a tortoise trying his best to mate with a Crocs sandal.
