Men, calm yourselves down. In a (pleasantly) surprising announcement by event promoters Live! Empire, the acclaimed Blackheart Burlesque show featuring the tattooed pin-up girls of SuicideGirls will actually stop by Singapore this April at The Coliseum.
Described by VICE as “Comicon meets burlesque nerd orgy”, SuicideGirls’ burlesque show has been a sensational success all over the world, offering striptease performances in tribute to Star Wars, Tomb Raider, Clockwork Orange, Doctor Who and other pop culture references that should make geeks very, very happy.
It is unclear if the Singapore version will be modified — the ladies have gone topless in shows abroad, baring their breasts with only nipple tape as their sole protector of modesty. The show has been rated R18.
