Uniqlo brings modern hijab fashion line to Singapore in collaboration with Hana Tajima

Popular Japanese clothing retailers UNIQLO have announced a new collection that will make hijabsters and fans of modest wear very happy — a collaboration with beloved English hijabi fashion designer and internet personality Hana Tajima-Simpson.

Come July 3, the UNIQLO x Hana Tajima Collection arrives exclusively at the 313@Somerset outlet as well as their Singapore online store.

Catering to ladies who embrace modest fashion, the collection is designed for ladies who value comfortable and relaxed wear, while also looking suitable in the contemporary style and should fit in any fashionista’s wardrobe easily. Think UNIQLO’s trademark minimalism fused together with traditional Muslimwear, in a modern aesthetic.

Muslim ladies should also take note of UNIQLO’s upcoming array of stylish hijab headscarves as well as their inner AIRism hijab headscarves and headbands made from thin, light material that’s also supremely comfortable in tropical climates.

“We want to create a collection that not only appeals to modern ladies who prefer to dress modestly, but also an international audience who desire clothes that fit comfortably and look contemporary,” revealed Hana Tajima, who oversaw the design of every piece in this collection.

“My collection is specially designed to allow effortless mix and match for the today’s women to express their own style.”
