Despite erroneous reports published overseas that Singapore-based Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin is set to wed former Miss Singapore Rachel Kum, the billionaire is indeed marrying a lucky lady who’s based here.
The 33-year-old tech entrepreneur will be marrying Elaine Andriejanssen, a 31-year-old Indonesian Chinese based in Singapore, in a wedding set to take next month in France.
Sources speaking to The Straits Times reported that the pair threw a grand engagement party in Bali last month with John Legend playing a private performance for the soirée. Rich people eh?
Andriejanssen, an alumni at Raffles Girls’ School (Secondary) has been engaged to Saverin since March last year, and lives in Singapore with her family.
Entertainment websites such as Page Six and Daily Mail erroneously reported that the billionaire was marrying Kum, to which his spokesman flatly denied any involvement or intimate relationship between the two.
