An employee of a food stall who was captured on a 19-second video scraping dead skin off her fingers in public, using what appears to be a fruit knife, has been fired by her employer.
The food court operator issued a warning to the stall operator, who in turn quickly fired the errant employee.
“After conducting its investigations, Kopitiam clarified that the knife in question was for the staff’s personal use. It was not used to prepare any food at the stall,” reports The Straits Times.
The viral hit was taken at the Kopitiam Food Court in Sembawang’s Sun Plaza.
We hope the person who took the video — a personal assistant named Renny who described the scene as “disturbing” — is happy now.
