13-year-old boy breaks hearts everywhere with Carousell post offering cleaning services

Right now, a 13-year-old boy is breaking the hearts of everyone on popular marketplace app Carousell and beyond with his display of utter selflessness, especially for someone as young as him.

Muhamad Akid (@drcraycray on Carousell) shot to internet fame after Facebook user Ashraf Feroz Khan posted screenshots of Akid’s post, in which the boy expressed his desire to help out his family’s financial situation. How? He’s offering services to clean up your house for a fee. Bless his innocent heart — he’s charging really low fees and says that he’s willing to do other jobs too, like serving “food or drinks and stuff”.

“I have so much respect for this kid. At the age of 13 he’s already trying his best to support his family,” says Ashraf of the thoughtful boy. “He’s willing to put in the extra hard work to get money unlike some people who would rob, steal, cheat or make use of other people’s money.”

Akid has since taken down the post on his Carousell page, probably because he’s not allowed to sell services on the app — though the Ministry of Manpower states that he can be legally employed. If you’d like to support this young lad in other ways, you can purchase his array of old PS3 games or even help him choose his YouTube channel name
