Local folk-pop act Gentle Bones to perform at Esplanade Concert Hall in December

The exponential rise of 21-year-old singer-songwriter Joel Tan will come to an apex this Dec 10 when the grand expanses of the Esplanade Concert Hall welcomes his biggest show yet.

More popularly known as Gentle Bones, the young musician will be playing live in his first ever ticketed concert featuring all the songs that propelled him to nation-wide stardom as well as new songs off his upcoming EP. His show at the Esplanade will be one of the rare times local indie music acts are being held at the prestigious venue — the last notable one would be in the House Of Riot, where the likes of Charlie Lim, Inch Chua and The Great Spy Experiment graced the hallowed stage.

“This concert marks a huge milestone to my musical career,” remarked Tan on his concert. “Months of preparations have gone into this show and I’m glad I have the opportunity to present my new music along with revisions of the old, in the beautiful Esplanade Concert Hall.”

“Many exciting things are almost due and I’d like the people at home to be the first to experience it live.”

Tickets are available now on Sistic at $25, $35 and $45 — stay updated on the Facebook event page.
