Sorry Gentle Bones fans, but your favourite baby-faced singer-songwriter will not be having his sold-out debut concert at the Esplanade this December.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we have made the unfortunate decision to cancel Gentle Bones’ debut concert at The Esplanade Concert Hall on 10th December 2015,” wrote Universal Music Singapore on their Facebook page.
Ticket holders can receive a full refund through Sistic from Dec 2 to 17, and they’re already working on rescheduling the concert for 2016.
No reason was given behind the unexpected cancellation, but word on the street is that it has something to do with him and his band being stuck somewhere in the region. We probably can’t say anything more due to legal reasons — you’ll just have to find out from Joel himself when they eventually make an official statement.
