Yishun cat killings: Dead cat found floating in Yishun Pond

The atrocities against stray cats depressingly trudge on in the district of Yishun, where the series of animal abuse seem to have no end. 

Yet another suspected case of stray cat abuse has surfaced in recent days — a dead cat was found floating in the pond next to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

According to Facebook community page Yishun 326 Tabby Cat, the feline was discovered with other items floating nearby, though its unclear if they’re related to its death. Police have gone down to the scene to conduct investigations.
 

Not including this one, 18 cases of cat abuse have been reported in Yishun during the past three months.  

The serious spate of killings and mistreatment of stray cats around Yishun and Sembawang has prompted Nee Soon GRC’s Member of Parliament Louis Ng to launch a neighbourhood watch team to combat the issue.
