Singapore’s first Hello Kitty themed cafe opens at Changi Airport in May

Get ready for Hello Kitty mania. This May, Changi Airport Terminal 3 welcomes Hello Kitty Orchid Garden, a themed cafe featuring everyone’s favourite feline. Set in a whimsical floral paradise, it takes inspiration from our garden city and our national flower, the orchid, to create what’s sure to be an adorable, Instagram-worthy space.

Also influenced by our local culture is the cafe’s menu, which will offer all-day breakfast options and desserts such as gelato sundaes, waffles, pastries and tea cakes — all with a Hello Kitty touch (we wouldn’t expect anything less).

If you’re the type who can’t leave a Hello Kitty store without buying up all the merch, your shopaholic self will be glad to know the cafe has a retail corner filled with Singapore-exclusive items. We’re talking tea blends, plushies, DIY plant kits, postcards, teacups and much more.

We hate to keep you in suspense, but the exact launch date and images of the cafe will only be available nearer to May, so check back here for updates.
