Man vs Wild: Motorcyclist sent to hospital after colliding with wild boar on SLE

A massive jam erupted along the Seletar Expressway (SLE) yesterday evening — and all because of an accident that transpired when a wild boar appeared on the roads.

The poor dude who collided into the animal was a motorcyclist, who was conveyed by ambulance to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital at 8.30pm.

According to a witness who called up Channel NewsAsia, the crash took place along the SLE towards Woodlands before Upper Thomson Road. The boar was seen lying motionless on one lane of the expressway, while the motorcyclist — who was thrown off his bike — had some people help him up.

The carcass was moved to the side of the road, and the National Environment Agency were later called in to remove it.
