Police are currently investigating what they classified as an “unnatural death”, in which they found the body of an elderly man this morning in a terraced house in Macpherson.
A 79-year-old man was found dead at 88 Jalan Mulia in Macpherson Garden Estate after police were called in for assistance around 7.30am today. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were called in later, dispatching a Red Rhino, two firebikes and an ambulance.
After SCDF officers conducted forcible entry operations through the front door, the body of the elderly Chinese man was found motionless. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
