This sugar-free Mother’s Day cake by Antoinette is for all the matcha-lovin’ mums

This Mother’s Day, give your mum the gift of guilt-free indulgence with Antoinette’s specially-created matcha cake: Yucha. Aimed at the health-conscious ladies, this dessert is packed with antioxidants and amino acids, and made from top-notch matcha powder from Nishio, Japan.

On first glance, it looks like a lush garden landscape, with matcha coral sponge and cake ‘moss’ dusted around the cake. Slice it open and you’ll find layers of kirsch-infused matcha butter cake spread with matcha crème mousseline and a splash of yuzu curd for a tart finish.
