You gotta pity SMRT — regardless of what right or wrong they seem to do, the public transport operator will still get shit on by incandescent folks on Facebook.
On Wednesday, SMRT posted a pretty emotive video that takes you back to the 2000s, when the Trans-Island Bus Services (TIBS) still existed and its bus drivers wore garish flower-patterned uniforms. Generally it’s all about how their caring bus drivers have made a difference — they’re always there for you through each generation, the video caption reads.
Despite the heart-warming narrative, some folks remained as cold as ever to SMRT’s message. Tough crowd.
Not everyone thinks so of course.
