WATCH: New footage of Amos Yee apparently being accosted by man in Jurong Point

We want to say it’s all staged, but ehh, who knows when it involves the shenanigans of Amos Yee.

Days after he faced the music in court and got slapped with eight fresh charges — including the familiar ‘wounding religious feelings of others’ — the 17-year-old was back in headlines again after he uploaded a shaky video himself getting “attacked” at Jurong Point Mall. Wobbly footage revealed that some dude chased and accosted Yee after he confronted the man about taking pictures. Much yelling of “Help me” ensued. No one bothered.

A second video from another angle emerged (and uploaded on his on YouTube page) showing Yee being manhandled by the black-shirted dude, causing a commotion in the middle of the mall.

It’s pretty unclear what the ruckus is about, but the general understanding is:

– Yee confronted Blackshirt, asking if Blackshirt took photos of him
– Blackshirt goes mad at seeing Yee recording a video of him and his ginger-haired girlfriend
– Blackshirt chases and detains Yee, threatening to call the police. Blackshirt loses slippers in chase, ginger-haired girlfriend holds it for him
– Yee yells for help and remains confused why nobody did

Watch below as Amos ‘Come at me motherfucker’ Yee struggles awkwardly under the bear hug while Mariah Carey’s ‘Touch My Body’ plays softly in the background.

Yee’s currently out on bail of $5,000, and could face jail time again should he be convicted of deliberately wounding the religious feelings of others. He faces further penalties for failing to report for police investigations despite official orders to do so.
