The second edition of Resorts World Sentosa’s Art at Curate brings in French chef Guy Martin for a week in July. If you haven’t heard of Curate, it’s Asia’s first restaurant to be helmed by visiting Michelin chefs from around the world. Pretty cool stuff, if you’re into atas fine dining (and can afford to burn a hole in your pocket).
As the chef-owner of Le Grand Véfour, the oldest restaurant in Paris (it was founded in 1784), Guy Martin is one of the most famous French chefs, with four other restaurants under his belt. Expect signature creations from his restaurant, which he’s helmed for 25 years, such as duck liver ravioli with truffle emulsion cream, veal fillet rubbed with paprika, and his popular sweet artichoke ‘crème brûlée’ topped with candied veggies and bitter almond sherbet. Special creations for the season will also be presented, including lobster with melting rhubarb, tomato and ginger, and Bresse chicken with truffles, crispy polenta, asparagus and chanterelles.
Have a look at the delectable dishes here.
Two more editions of Art at Curate will be held this year: Sept 16-25 and Nov 4-11, starring Scandinavian and Spanish cuisines respectively. Check back for more updates.
Art at Curate goes from Jul 8-15 at CURATE, L2 The Forum at Resorts World Sentosa. Four-course lunch with wine pairing $240++, eight-course dinner with wine and champagne pairing $400++.
