Check out this new multi-concept shop and gallery featuring local brands at Scotts Square

K+ curatorial space launched in January 2015, and since then, it has hosted over 18 shows and worked with 32 collaborators across the globe. Taking it one step further, it’s now debuting a revamped look as a multi-concept shop, the largest K+ endeavour at 4,000 sq ft. Featuring a larger gallery, as well as a retail and community space, the shop is set to open on July 1 at Scotts Square.

Housed in the curatorial space are under-the-radar artists, funky brands and cool designers, both local and international. Homegrown furniture designer Nathan Yong and his works will be the highlight of the gallery’s first show from July 1 to August 14, after which the new line of products will be retailed at the shop until February 2017.

As for the retail area, six local brands will be featured, with a selection of literature, furniture, apparel and home decor. Browse through Singaporean literary publications, poetry and essays from BooksActually, quirky knick knacks from GOODSTUPH, contemporary furniture labels from Pomelo, minimalistic home ware from Supermama, notebooks and art pieces from Tofu Design, and locally-inspired accessories from Kinetic.

At the new community area, anyone interested in art and design (or just keen to mingle) can hang out at the co-working space for creative start-ups or check out special bazaars that’ll pop up throughout the year. Cool stuff.

K+ curatorial space is at #03-11 Scotts Square, 6 Scotts Rd. Daily noon-8pm.
