A particularly angry individual has been caught on tape going into a violent rage at a Cheers outlet in Yishun after being told that they were out of spoons. As you do.
A CCTV clip captured the bewildering altercation from yesterday morning, depicting the man flying into a tantrum during his purchase of some Yakult and a cup of Meiji yoghurt. Alas, there was no spoon, the cashier informed him — and that’s when the man erupted in a tirade about cutlery. We’re fans of Meiji yoghurt too, but we’re pretty sure we won’t be banging on tables, yelling abuse and threatening the cashier if we can’t eat it straight away.
The cashier then picked up his mobile phone to call the police — but that only made the Meiji-madman even more furious. The phone was snatched away and smashed repeatedly to the point of no return before he made his dramatic exit. Even sadder: The cashier’s now-wrecked phone was an “iPhone 6s Plus Gold which he got it as a birthday gift from his dad”, according to the video’s description. Ayyy.
