The hype surrounding Pokémon Go has reached new levels of craziness. It hasn’t even been a week since the game launched in Singapore, and already hordes of people are hanging out at parks and public spaces in the middle of the night, hoping beyond hope to catch rare and elusive pokémon.
But this recent announcement by Funzing Singapore takes the cake. It’s actually offering what it claims to be the first ever Pokémon job in the world. That means you’ll get paid to play Pokémon Go. And yes, you can officially call yourself a professional Pokémon master and spend your days relishing in the thrill of the hunt for pokémon (at least that’s what we think).

Self-described as a “community marketplace for unique experiences”, the online platform offers a variety of activities that you can ‘purchase’ and take part in, such as pop-up yoga classes, parkour sessions and cooking workshops, among others.
While we’re not entirely sure what exactly this job entails, it seems to revolve around organising Pokémon Go events in Singapore. So maybe Funzing Singapore needs your creative talents to come up with something along the lines of ‘Pokémon Go Singles Mingles: Hunt for Pokémon and Your Mate at the Same Time’ or ‘Pokémon Go Fishing to Catch ‘Em All’.
