Everyone wants a piece of Joseph Schooling. And if you haven’t had the opportunity to meet the Olympic gold medallist face-to-face, this is your last chance. Before the 21-year-old departs on Thursday evening to return to the US, he’ll be going on an open top bus parade to celebrate his swimming victory at Rio 2016.
On Thursday, Schooling will make three pit stops as part of the bus parade. From 10am to 10.45am, catch him at 50A Marina Terrace market. Next up, Singtel Comcentre Plaza from 11.30am to 12.15pm. The bus will then go from Orchard Road to Bras Basah Road between 12.15pm and 12.45pm, and he’ll end up at Raffles City shopping centre till 2pm.
After that, it’s back to the States where he can hopefully take a quick breather before continuing his studies at the University of Texas.
