Now you can fly from Singapore to Hokkaido (via Taipei) on a budget with Scoot

Good news for anyone planning a vacay to Hokkaido soon. Budget airline Scoot will commence flights from Singapore to Sapporo, the capital city of the northern Japanese island, from October 1. Scheduled for three times a week, the flight to New Chitose Airport stops over in Taipei first — travel time is nine hours, and return tickets start from a pretty affordable $438.

If Japan is all you can think about when it comes to holidays, Scoot also flies to Osaka and Tokyo.
