Looks like Sing! China contestant Nathan Hartono’s Milo dream may come true after all

Looks like local singer Nathan Hartono’s promise/joke about treating Singaporeans to iced Milo if he won Chinese TV singing contest Sing! China may come true after all. Because win or lose, Milo has his back.

Yep, that’s right. Its parent company, Nestle, revealed to The Straits Times that regardless of the finale results on Friday, we will all get to enjoy the free drinks, thanks to Hartono being the first Singaporean to make it the furthest on the show. So Milo vans are being prepped as we speak (hey, it’s great publicity for the malt beverage brand).

We’re all for supporting homegrown talent — but it’s even better when free stuff comes along for the ride. Sure sounds like a win-win for everyone.
