Coldplay finally announces second show in Singapore; more tickets released for first show

By now, everyone knows Coldplay’s coming to town next year. Ticket sales went crazy — and not in a good way — when tons of them got snapped up rapidly and then appeared online at reselling platforms. After the chaos of one-star bombs on organiser Live Nation Lushington’s Facebook page and a petition for a second show, it seems the band has heard the fans’ cries.

So yes, Coldplay is putting on a second show in Singapore on March 31, 7.30pm at the National Stadium. Tickets across all price categories ($78-$298) will go on sale on November 25 at 10am. There won’t be any pre-sales this time, so make sure you’re camped out by your computer to get your hands on those tickets. Each transaction will only allow a maximum of four.

If you can’t make it for March 31, the band has you covered with an additional release of 2,200 CAT 5 and 1,000 CAT 6 tickets for the first show on April 1. These will also go on sale on November 25 at 10am.

And seriously, stop encouraging scalpers by buying their ridiculously marked-up tickets. Not only could they be scamming you, but the promoters could have already voided those tickets (they’ve been cracking down on resellers).
