Locally-designed wallet that separates your cash and coins gets massive response on Kickstarter

KIN is a minimalistic wallet created by three Singapore-based designers behind Studio KIN. What’s so special about it, you ask? It claims to be the world’s first wallet to automatically separate your cash from your coins.

Seriously, it looks pretty damn cool. And it’s not only good-looking; it’s also functional. With it, you can say goodbye to the forever annoying issue of holding up the line while you fumble about and attempt to sort out coins from the change you receive.

Basically, you just shove both notes and coins into the wallet from the top, but the coins will come out of the side pocket. And apparently you won’t have to worry about coins falling out, because the design allows the wallet to keep them in safely.

If that wasn’t enough to grab your attention, the wallet is also water-resistant.

That’s probably why they’ve managed to raise more than $220,000 on Kickstarter — from a goal of $4,000 — since the launch on November 1. And they still have six days to go — so if you’re keen on backing the project, check it out here.
