Sip on pineapple tart-inspired and bak kwa-infused CNY cocktails at this bar

Ah, Chinese New Year. A time for throwing caution to the wind and abandoning every resolve to lose weight. Because how can you say no when treats like pineapple tarts are calling out your name? And sorry to make dieting even harder for you, but now you can have a taste of CNY in liquid form as well.

The Huat Ah! cocktail

From next week, CNY-inspired cocktails ($18) will be available at Ann Siang Hill bar, Nutmeg & Clove.

For pineapple tart fanatics, try the Prosperity Flip, a cocktail made with Bacardi Carta Blanca that pays tribute to the CNY staple. If you’re more of a Mandarin orange kinda person, the Huat Ah! concoction is a Campari-based sweet mix. And if you wanna feel the festive vibes of Chinatown without squeezing with the sweaty crowds, its namesake cocktail features Bulleit bourbon infused with Kim Joo Guan bak kwa and blended with sweet vermouth and Shao Xing wine.

The cocktails are available from next week at Nutmeg & Clove, 10 Ann Siang Hill.
