Boat Quay murder suspect arrested; victim died a few days after being warded in SGH

In a murder-filled past couple of weeks, the police have announced some good news — a suspect has been arrested for an alleged killing that took place at a Boat Quay pub last Wednesday.

On the morning of July 13, a 55-year-old man was conveyed unconscious to Singapore General Hospital, where he died later in the afternoon of July 16.

Yesterday, a 47-year-old man was arrested in connection to the case. He will be charged with murder today.

Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing for the murder case in Geylang, another murder case at Jalan Besar and the death of alleged “stalker” Shawn Ignatius Rodrigues in Yishun.
